2017 Dinner in the Street

Bunnell Street Art Center’s creative placemaking event in Old Town, Homer Alaska.

Dinner in the Street is one of Bunnell Street Art Center’s keystone events. What started out as a massive collaborative community experiment in 2014 has turned into a favorite Homer annual event. Dinner in the Street reclaims shared public space and reinvents it as a shared community space of exchange. Bunnell closes Main Street to cars and re-opens it to 200 guests who enjoy a sit-down meal in historic Old Town with beautiful Kachemak Bay in the back ground. We are glad to welcome new sponsors this year such as SeaGlo Spa, Ulmer’s Drug and Hardware, Homer Chamber of Commerce, Kachemak Bay Seafoods, Snug Harbor and Wild Honey Bistro!
