Paul Banks Elementary and Bunnell Street Arts Center partnered together to bring artist Debbie Piper to teach ceramics to the entire second grade class. They learnt the process of hand-building, firing, glazing and firing again. The class was dedicated to building a textured pendant, animals from sea shells, a turtle pond to introduce the use of slip and also a textured slab bowl.
