Desiree Hagen, February 2016 Exhibit
Desiree Hagen spent the month of January at Bunnell as Artist in Residence. She worked tirelessly for forty days to complete her site specific papercut installation Seven Years. Desiree Hagen is a Homer artist who works in metal, fiber and clay but most consistently enjoys meticulously cutting and gluing tiny sheets of paper. Seven Years is a site specific installation made of handmade and salvaged paper, cut sewn and painted to form a collage of memories and impressions of her life in Alaska.
