Steeped in the fiddle traditions from their respective sides of the Atlantic, Orkney fiddler Louise Bichan and American mandolinist Ethan Setiawan present a collaboration and meeting of musical worlds. They weave Scottish, oldtime, and Swedish inspired music with contemporary compositions, with Bichan’s fiddle as a melodic foil to Setiawan’s counterpoint and harmonic depth.
