Bunnell Arts by Air Presents Mayumi Tayake, Mannfried Funk and Daniel Perry on KBBI

Bunnell presents pianist Mayumi Tayake, cellist Mannfried Funk and violinist Daniel Perry, broadcast from Bunnell, on KBBI AM890 Friday, November 18th, at 7pm. Audience must be seated at 6:45 for the show to go live on air at 7pm. 

Mayumi Tayake and Mannfried Funk are founding members of Trio Seattle and are joined by violinist, Daniel Perry. The trio will be playing the Brahms E-minor cello sonata and the Mendelssohn D minor piano trio.

Mayumi Tayake leads an active professional life in the Seattle area as a concert and freelance pianist, piano teacher, and collaborative artist. She is a founder of an experimental group, Music Storytelling, which collaborates with puppet theater and story-telling groups at school and libraries to spark children’s interest in music.

Mannfried Funk began musical studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and entered the professional world with the Sinfonica National de Colombia in Bogota. He has played for the Seattle Symphony, the Seattle Opera, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, and was recruited as principal cello and personnel manager for The Federal Way Symphony and the Bellevue Symphony.

Daniel Perry Violinist Daniel Perry currently performs with the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra and the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra. Mr. Perry was a founding instructor of the Sun Valley Music Conservatory in Idaho, a music director for the Homer OPUS string program, and maintains a vibrant private violin studio.
