Bunnell Street Arts Center welcomes multidisciplinary artist, Lydia Moyer from September 23rd – October 22rd as artist in residence. Moyer will exhibit work, share an artist talk, and offer community workshops throughout the month of October at Bunnell Street Arts Center.
Join us in welcoming printmaker, social art practitioner and filmmaker Lydia Moyer, as she hosts an artist talk on October 6 at 6pm at Bunnell. Moyer introduces her work and a series of give-away posters which advocate for multi-species justice by asking “what is best for …” numerous categories of beings from rabbits to rivers as a way of advocating for multi-species justice.
While in residence, Moyer will host two flipbook workshops on October 11 and 18 from 5 to 7 pm at Bunnell. Participants will create flipbooks with post-it pads, and turn them into digital animations using smart phones. Register by calling (907) 235 – 2662 or email info@bunnellarts.com
