Michael Walsh curates Film Jam on October 14th 2023 at 7:30pm at Bunnell Street Arts Center. Tickets are sliding scale and available at Bunnellarts.org.

Film Jam is an evening of cinema, performance, storytelling and music by some of Homer’s most adventurous makers curated by Michael Walsh. The program includes the world premier of a new music video featuring The Wet Spots, a short story by Jay Bechtol, films by Lydia Moyer and Mike Conti, live music by Dave Webster, performances by Craig Phillips, Lukas Thoning and Susannah Webster, and  multi-projection cinema.

Michael Walsh has been making and curating moving image art for over 30 years. His work has screened at the SFMOMA, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Nam June Paik Center in S. Korea and Anthology Film Archives, among others.  He has an MFA in Film/Video, New Genres and Performance Art from the Peck School of the Arts at UW-Milwaukee.  Walsh works in digital video and celluloid film as well as painting and installation.  Walsh is an Adjunct art instructor for the University of Alaska Anchorage and most recently was Assistant Curator and Archivist for the Moving Image Department at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
