Homer Foundation Grant supports Bunnell’s Cosmic Agents Initiative

We are pleased to announce that Cosmic Agents, Bunnell’s initiative to connect and support young artists and emerging leaders in Homer with programs that foster creative exposure, networking, critical dialogue and professional development continues with support from Homer Foundation! Homer Foundation just awarded Bunnell $2500 to support artists fees, food and transportation for several Cosmic Agents

presentations fostering young creatives in the next six months.  Cosmic Agents’ next program is Brave New Alaskan Voices, award winning spoken word performers from Anchorage.BNAV is described by Bunnell’s NEA ArtWorks Artist in Residence, Jack Dalton, as the “team to watch out for on the national level.” BNAV

Bunnell is collaborating with KBFPC’s REC Room to offer two workshops in spoken word by BNAV. The workshops are Nov. 21, 3-6 pm and Nov. 22, 3:30 to 6 pm at the REC Room, free and open to youth ages13 to 19. Call 235-open or recroom@kpfpc.org to sign up.  BNAV also offers an FOL performance to Homer High Students only , 2:30 to 3:15 on Nov. 22 and a community performance at K-Bay Caffe Nov. 23, 6:30-8 pm. Donations gladly accepted! Each Cosmic Agents occasion is an open forum for critical, creative dialogue among emerging creative of all backgrounds and interests, not exclusive to artists.
