Kima Hamilton and Dasha Kelly share dynamic approaches to creative working, poetry, spoken word and personal narrative. They work extensively as teaching artists in classrooms, community programs, correctional facilities and social service agencies.
“By creatively engaging students in language and performance arts, we establish a safe space for them to explore their classroom community, the world and, most importantly, themselves. The focus of our our work is to help unearth, polish and celebrate the students voices and stories.”
