Learn to sew a kuspuk/atikluk from a traditional Inupiaq artist and Bobby Itta from Utqiagvik. Appreciate the cultural context around this traditional the original “hoodie”. $100 fee for the workshop includes instruction and custom fit pattern.
Participants will need to bring 4 yards of fabric, 3 packets of single fold bias tape, 2 medium size ric rac, thread, scissors and sewing machine if possible. (We will have some to lend).
