“The Vagina Monologues” Performance, Directed by Jessica Williams

Director Jessica Williams presents Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues on Friday and Saturday, February 23 & 24, at 7pm and on Sunday, February 25th at 4pm, at Bunnell Street Arts Center.

A landmark work in women’s empowerment, The Vagina Monologues honors women’s sexuality in all its complexity, mystery, and power. Witty and irreverent, compassionate and wise, this award-winning masterpiece gives voice to real women’s deepest fantasies, fears, anger, and pleasure, and calls for a world where all women are safe, equal, free, and alive in their bodies.

This production benefits Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic and Bunnell Street Arts Center.

Theatrical Director, Jessica Williams, is best known to the community as a musical theater performer. Notable roles include Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Patsy Cline in Always…Patsy Cline, and Diana in Next to Normal. Jessica holds a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Columbia College Chicago.
