
Youth Cyanotype Workshop with Kristin Link, June 24-30
A collaboration between Bunnell Street Arts Center and Center for Alaska Coastal Studies (CACS), Kristin Link’s residency takes place at the Petersen Bay Field Station and Wynn Nature Center from June 24-30th.
Link will lead two youth cyanotype workshops during her residency. These workshops for youth ages 13 to 19 will explore the basics of the cyanotype process, how to apply chemicals to paper and to fabric, and how to create exposures. Students will create a cyanometer and experiment making cyanotypes with materials found in the environment and with the local weather.
1-Day Cyanotype Workshop with Kristin Link at Petersen Bay Field Station, June 25, appx 9am – 5pm Cost: $85 (includes RT water taxi travel and trail use fees)*
4-Day Cyanotype Workshop with Kristin Link at the Wynn Nature Center, June 27, 28, 29 & 30, from 3:30 – 5:30pm, Cost: $15
